Training the Community

Educating for better career choices

The Alabama Workforce Training Center (AWTC) has training opportunities available for individuals who are residents of the state of Alabama. Our courses help to provide opportunities in a variety of industries. We do this for several reasons:

  • to train individuals in a career interest
  • to train individuals in a career to be more marketable for hire
  • to train individuals in a new career (unemployed)
to train or refresh individuals in a particular skill set
  • to pique interest in a career that can further their education and training opportunities through the k-12, community college, and university systems.

The training that is made available to the public is at no-charge. Not all of the courses listed on our website are available to the general public. Below is a listing of the available courses.
